What benefits do I get from a medical marijuana card?
Having a medical marijuana card saves you sales tax (8.6% in Everson/Deming). We also give all medical patients an extra 10% off at our shop. A medical card allows medical patients to carry up to 3oz of marijuana which is 3x the legal limit as recreational customers. All medical patients with an authorization can grow between 6-15 plants (determined by your doctor) and those with a card receive arrest protection.
How do I get a medical marijuana card?
Patients with terminal or debilitating medical conditions may, under their healthcare practitioner’s care, benefit from the medical use of marijuana. To be a medical marijuana patient in the state of Washington, you must get a Medical Marijuana Authorization from a healthcare practitioner allowed to authorize marijuana for medical purposes. Bring your authorization into our shop and we will make you a medical marijuana card which will bring you the most benefits of being a medical patient.
Patients may qualify for a medical marijuana authorization for the following conditions:
Cancer
Multiple Sclerosis
Epilepsy or other seizure disorder, or spasticity disorders
Intractable pain
Glaucoma, either acute or chronic
Crohn’s Disease
Hepatitis C
Chronic renal failure
Post-traumatic stress disorder
Traumatic brain injury
And other diseases/disorders- ask your healthcare provider
